The night before: 4 tablespoons butter, 3 tablespoons cane sugar, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, 1 cup of milk (goat milk is great!), 1/4 lemon (juice only, let sit for 15 minutes), 1/2 cup sourdough starter, 1 cup all purpose flour, 1 cup spelt flour. Allow to ferment overnight. Morning of add, 2 large eggs, 1 tspn baking soda, 1 tspn baking powder, 1 tspn seal salt.
